Police Finally Take Out The Trash at Occupy DC Camp

I’ve never been more proud of our boys in blue, this is awesome. Reminds me of a good old fashioned 70′s style hippie tossing:

Setting up shanty towns is NOT a protest. You can’t set up a hippie colony on federal land because you need a place to live, don’t have anything better to do, or are too unqualified to get a job. That’s not a protest. Protests have some sort of meaning other than temporary housing. They have an endgame, goals, coherent strategies. And the most effective protests are nonviolent and don’t encourage assaulting police officers:

Two Occupy D.C. protesters were arraigned in D.C. Superior Court and held Monday on felony assault charges, each accused of assaulting a police officer during Saturday’s raid on the Occupy encampment in McPherson Square.

Jeremiah D. DeSousa threw a glass bottle at a Park Police officer, seriously injuring one of his eyes, police said. Police initially said that DeSousa, 29, of Charlotte had thrown a brick.

Watch the above video and then watch this one to compare similarities, hilarious…
