Buffoons of the Week: Occupy Wall Street

Occupy Wall Street Radical Arrested

Occupy Wall Street Radical Arrested

There is only one way to deal with the socialist protesters of the so-called Occupy movements – and that’s with pure ridicule. Why? Because that’s exactly what they did to the Tea Party. From all the “Teabagger” and “astroturf” comments to the blame given for policy and economic failures, it’s time to switch roles. Conservatives shouldn’t be pushed around by extremists, it’s time to fight back with ideas – one place where the left absolutely cannot compete with us…without a federal subsidy anyway.

Say whatever you want about the Tea Party but they caused a political earthquake in 2010 and reshaped our federal and state governments. Will the Occupy movements have any such impact? I seriously doubt it. Even with unions backing them and George Soros money funding them, they just don’t have the heart or the backing of mainstream Americans to make real change. In 2010 the American people decided they wanted more freedom, less government, and a conservative approach to our problems. These protesters want more government, higher taxes, and a radical socialist approach to our problems. The American people aren’t going to make such a dramatic shift in ideology.

The videos of these hooligans really is telling enough about how lackluster, selfish, and nonsensical these protests really are. I’ve often said that most protests these days come as a result of pure boredom. There are no civil rights marches anymore. People are protesting the mundane intricacies of tax policy for God’s sake. Enjoy some of the meatier videos of these bongo drum playing hippies and ask yourself, “don’t they have something better to do?”

“Occupy Wall Street Protester Wants College Paid For Because That’s What He Wants”

“Ultimately violence will be necessary, says Occupy L.A. speaker”

“You can have sex with animals if you want.” (notice the creepy groupthink chanting)

This is just plain disgusting. Let’s not sacrifice personal hygiene for these protests, please. That’s how the hippie movement died. No one wanted to be around them anymore:

Don’t base your political philosophy on how high you are:

“We want to end capitalism” and “I quit my job to be here”

Lastly, this is not a video but a posting symbolic of the lunacy of the left. Check out this post from an Occupy supporter:

Read the last line:

“Whatever else we may think about his actions (or his writing style), Ted Kaczynski had the great misfortune of being right in his analysis.”

Even sadder? Read the comments beneath it that agree emphatically with the unabomber Ted Kaczynski.

The Tea Party didn’t cause a political earthquake in 2010. The influx of corporate money into the elections caused the political earthquake. Republicans outspent Democrats at the rate of about 12 to 1. Money bought your elections, not the will of the people. And now you see exactly what the will of the people is. They don’t want your austerity plans. They don’t want your pinched approach to life. It took you forty years to recover from our last blast. Prepare to go back in time.

Do you have any proof to your audacious statement? Perhaps you should take a look at how much unions and those so-called evil corporations you talk about give to Democrats, especially Barack Obama. For instance, Goldman Sachs gave more money to Obama than any other candidate by far.

With all due respect, I think you’ve fallen into the trap the media and the Wall Street elites have set out for you. The Occupy movement is transpolitical. This is not like the Tea Party at all. This is about the masses having been pushed around by the elites for too long and the masses saying enough is enough. Those on the left are welcome. Those on the right are welcome. Those in between are welcome. Those who fit nowhere on that spectrum are welcome. The Occupy movement isn’t about socialism, although there are socialists that identify with it, there are many more who identify with it who are not socialists. Whether you want to admit it or not, you are also part of the 99%!

Congrats, you did the same thing Bill Maher, and his ilk did when he poked fun at the Tea Party movement, you picked out the freaks in the crowd, and presented them as being like the majority. I believe that’s called hypocrisy on your part.

I’ve seen nothing to indicate that any of these people have any clue as to what they are doing. In fact I’d say at least 99% of the people in these protests are losers who would rather blame others for their problems then have some personal accountability.

What is hypocritical is the left marginalizing the Tea Party, calling them ridiculous names, and claiming they don’t have a right to voice their opinion – then claiming that Occupy Wall Street has the inalienable right to call for the destruction and overthrow of our capitalist system.

Sounds like a bunch of whiners with no personal accountability. Why is it always someone else’s fault for people’s problems? How exactly do “elites” push the masses around?

You sound a lot like Marx and his rantings about the proletariat and the bourgeoisie. Just saying…
