Glenn Beck writes some interesting books if you are interested in reading about American History. The scary part that he points out in his writing is that history does repeat itself over and over again. How many times are we going to allow the politicians and the liberal media to take us down the same foolhardy paths?
One point Glenn Beck sheds some light on is the national debt deficit. You know the money debt that seems to grow after each and every president and it never goes away. And the bigger losers which were Herbert Hoover and Franklin Roosevelt executed dream sheets that carried the biggest budget deficits in American history. And there are still a bunch of folks that still think FDR was one of the greatest presidents. But the point here is simple. For every president like FDR and Barack Obama who spends and spends like there is no tomorrow, there is an economy that follows that is less than stellar. Then they have a brain storm or a brain freeze and they start raising taxes. This again accomplishes absolutely nothing. It is completely counterproductive.
I wrote in my book about different vectors and amendments that should be part of our constitutions. But the simplest of all analysis is to have a debt ceiling stoically placed above our budget. A ceiling so strong that even Hillary Clinton couldn’t break through it. And granted there are many economists that need to be placed on lie detectors who claim to believe that debt for a country is good. Have you ever heard of anything so stupid?
Not too long ago when the liberal Democrats passed with glee the famed albatross entitled Obamacare, the CBO told these folks that there would be a budget surplus if Obamacare was passed. And they give a lot of credit to Obama for passing Obamacare. Do you see history again repeating itself? We were told that the national budget deficit would go down if Obamacare was passed. We were told by the same idiots that if we pass NAFTA the standard of living for Mexicans will go up. That didn’t happen, did it? But the opposite occurred: The standard of living for many Americans came crashing down!
When are you going to stop listening to stupid ideas that don’t make sense? If the government is going to spend any money, in the end the budget deficit goes up. There is only one way to save the economy. Quit listening to stupid economists and stop spending money the country does not have!
In Beck’s book he talks a great deal about balancing the budget. In the beginning most of the money to pay off the debt came from American citizens. Today most of the money comes from foreigners. This country needs to go on a liberal diet. If we start cutting back on the liberals’ over spending, the country will prosper. The only way this country can continue to be prosperous is from the revenue created by capitalistic means.
Did you ever spend money you didn’t have? Did you ever get caught gambling with money you didn’t have with the hope that you would win and get ahead. In some way shape or form we all have done this. Isn’t that what Bernie Madoff did? If the economy didn’t tank thanks to the greed of the Democrats, Bernie might be still living high on the hog today. But that’s what guys like Obama, FDR and the Keynesian drug addicts believe. They believe that if they spend like madmen and spend money the country does not have, that a fairy will appear and sprinkle fairy dust on the lands and millions of real jobs will occur. Then the folks will work these imagined jobs and this will result in more tax revenue. And it is this magical tax revenue that will bring down the national deficit. Folks this technically hasn’t happened since Andrew Jackson. But these nimrods that exemplify the definition of insanity keep doing the same things in greater proportion and expect different results.
What we should demand is more factory jobs! Wouldn’t the folks in Youngstown Ohio want to hear Queen Pelosi say we are going to build a hundred factories in Ohio? No point talking about Obamacare if you don’t have a job. You have to wonder what these idiots are thinking! Would an American rather have a job or would they prefer Obamacare. Simple answer is if you have a job you can pay for your own healthcare and pay a lot less then the Free Obamacare will cost you.
America needs real private sector jobs today! No more government spending.
Glenn Beck’s book is great. It gets a little heavy in the middle but he does create a book with a lot of informative material. But at the end he writes about what needs to be done. Things like a balanced budget amendment, term limits and line-item veto amendment.
These fixes can never be accomplished in a country that is so uneducated. Look at Wisconsin. This was a great example of folks that don’t understand the situation. I am not sure where the state was supposed to get the money to pay the exorbitant costs of the public sector unions, but the irate people in Wisconsin didn’t care. It was the Me-Me Syndrome and screw the rest of America.
How do you expect to find middle ground when there is no middle ground? The liberals have a certain objective and they have brought some groups along with them. Folks like the illegal immigrants and Muslims seem to swing to the left, but don’t they want capitalism? If we could educate those who choose to be educated, the numbers will change. But at the end of the day there will still be about 30% of the folks who want and demand Khrushchev’s communism. The only true way to find middle ground is to change the rules so that the liberals can have their own ground.
