Buffoon of the Week: Rep. Anthony (whatta) Weiner

Anthony Weiner

The Main Weiner

With a name like that it’s just too easy make jokes. I’m sure the representative from New York’s District 9 has heard his share of namecalling throughout his life. I’m sure most of those incidents probably weren’t justified, but this time it completely is. The Obamacare champ and one of it’s biggest cheerleaders raised some eybrows this week:

“The president said, ‘If you have better ideas that can accomplish the same thing, go for it,’” said Weiner. “I’m in the process now of trying to see if we can take [President Barack Obama] up on it in the city of New York, … and I’m taking a look at all of the money we spend in Medicaid and Medicare and maybe New York City can come up with a better plan.”

This is the same guy who supported a single payer system for the original Obamacare bill:

“I can tell you I wanted a single player plan, I’d like it to be there, but it’s not. You opposed it then and now you claim to support it.”

Ahh the stench of hypocrisy. It’s sad the mantra of “do as I say, not as I do” has become so commonplace in the Democratic Party. This is the same guy who once said in defense of Obamacare on the House floor:

“For all of you sitting and watching at home, playing the drinking game where you take a shot every time a Republican lies; you better get a designated driver.”

He also once was shouted off the house floor by Rep. Dan Lungren (R-CA) after making this ridiculous claim:

“Make no mistake about it: Every. Single. Republican. I. Have. Ever. Met. In my entire life is a wholly owned subsidiary of the insurance industry.”

Weiner is worse than a nutjob liberal, he’s a very loud and obnoxious nutjob liberal. The buffoonery of this weiner knows no bounds. His shocking antics have no place in the halls of Congress.

In fact, the only thing more shocking would be to see Barack Obama lobby for a healthcare waiver for his home state of Illinois.

Obama would sure be a weiner then…

[sorry, lame I know]

Hey Alan this is a great column.

If there is an opening for Baffoon of the year, I would like to nominate Weiner.

haha, I think there will definitely be a buffoon of the year. A lot of people deserve that title, including the Weiner. Maybe In December we’ll take a vote.
